My turn to dream! Here is my fantasy product. I produced this video so I could model for my class the steps to create their videos. Teachers, place your orders!

What kinds of products do 6th graders want? What new inventions does the world need? Working in pairs, our students pondered these questions then used their imagination and created their fantasy products. They identified their target customer and gave their products catchy names and slogans. Next, they brainstormed the types of video commercials they could produce to market their products. They planned out the commercial by drafting story boards and writing scripts. After that, they casted the production with actors from among the students and teachers available. Then things got really exciting when they began to film the scenes. Finally, they edited the commercials using creative iMovie techniques like adding text and transitions, music, narration, sounds, and other special effects like green screen, fast and slow motion and others.
